Movie Selection: Collateral Beauty

Have you ever wondered how the pain of loss can open us up to deeper truths about love, time, and human connection? Join us for a transformative discussion of the film Collateral Beauty, a powerful story that grapples with grief, healing, and the unexpected beauty that can emerge from life’s most challenging moments.

In this Death Care Book Club, we’ll explore Collateral Beauty—a movie about a man, played by Will Smith, who is struggling with the devastating loss of his young daughter. As he tries to make sense of his grief, he begins to have profound encounters with personifications of Love, Time, and Death. Through these encounters, the movie reveals how the process of grief is as much about finding healing as it is about confronting the profound mysteries of existence.
